about

HI,

I’M BRITTANY

I’M BRITTANY

I didn’t always know how to explain what I wanted to do with my life. I just knew I never wanted it to feel small.

For as long as I can remember, I’ve been chasing something bigger—new places, new experiences, new versions of myself. At 22, that looked like one-way plane tickets, odd jobs, and building a life around travel.

And for a while, I did it. I got paid to travel. I built a following. I lived what people love to call “the dream.”

But somewhere along the way… it stopped feeling like mine.

When the world shut down in 2020, everything paused—and for the first time in years, I wasn’t chasing the next trip.

I stayed in one place. I built a career. I worked my way up at Lululemon, helped open stores across Florida, and stepped into a version of life that felt stable, impressive, and—on paper—right.

But something didn’t sit right.

I found myself stuck between two identities:

The girl who built a life around freedom

And the version of me trying to fit into something more “acceptable”

So I did what a lot of us do.

I tried to force it.

Until I couldn’t anymore.

What started as confusion turned into burnout, and eventually into a quiet realization:

I had built a life that looked good—but didn’t feel like mine.

So I walked away.

I left the career. I tried different paths. And eventually, I found myself somewhere unexpected—back in the service industry, working at a restaurant in Winter Park.

And strangely enough? That’s where things started to make sense again.

I met people who reminded me that life isn’t about checking boxes—it’s about actually living. People who work to live, not live to work. People who aren’t afraid to build a life that looks different.

And for the first time in a long time, I felt like myself again.

So this is me, starting over.

Or maybe just starting again, but this time… more honestly.

Brittany in Wanderland isn’t just about travel.

It’s about:

  • building a life that feels like yours

  • redefining what success actually looks like

  • and finding your way back when you’ve gone a little off course

I still want to get paid to travel. I still believe you can have more than one version of your life.

And I still think the best stories come from the moments that don’t go according to plan.

So if you’re figuring things out, changing your mind, starting over, or just craving something more—

You’re in the right place.

I’m really funny, you can read all about my many adventures!
